Originally launched for the practice of basketballthe pair has been reinvented with a tear-off canvas material. This is not the first time the brand has used this kind of process. It used a similar technique for the first time in 2003 on the Nike Vandal Supreme Goeff McFetridge and more recently on the Nike Air Tailwind 79 Stranger Things. At first glance, this edition seems very basic with its white hue, but on closer inspection, clues such as the words "Tear Here" and a pair of scissors suggest that there's something underneath. Indeed, once the fabric is removed, the upper gives way to a second layer of leather with multicolored inserts. The packaging has been carefully thought out, as the pair appears to come with a closed pouch on which are written the do's and don'ts for correctly removing the initial layer.
