AIR JORDAN 1: A STRONG STORY

A true symbol of hip-hop and sports culture, the history of this pair is as dense as that of the must-see Air Force 1. The "Amateur and enthusiast" of long standing, the Air Jordan 1 is simply what we call a "must-have". This sneaker from the basketball courts was created in 1985 by Peter Moore, the very famous designer also known as the creator of the Equipment from Adidas. The architecture and design of this pair is reminiscent of the Air Force 1, and it is the very first pair to have been marketed by the Air Force 1 brand. Air Jordan co-created by Michael Jordan and Nike. Just like on the period model, we find the famous winged ball more commonly known as "Jordan Wings"which served as a signature. In terms of performance, Nike Air technology has been used in the sole since 1985 to provide maximum comfort and support as well as enhanced ankle protection. For the record, the first version of this silhouette named Bred wasn't allowed on the courts by the NBA. The NBA did not respect the championship dress code. Michael Jordan was fined $5,000 for each appearance with Air Jordan 1 on the court. Nike paid each of the fines and used the controversy to promote the model.

A MODEL DECLINED FOR THE LIFESTYLE

The Air Jordan 1 Mid is not only named after the Air Jordan 1 High, but is directly inspired by it. Offered to the public to offer a different style and in the continuity of the modelOG, the Air Jordan 1 Mid takes the same design but has a lower construction than its big sister, with a collar that stops halfway down the ankle.
