La Sacai x Nike LDWaffle Trainer "Green Gusto/Varsity Maize" is one of two colorways from this unique collaboration. Avant-garde Japanese fashion brand Sacai brings its distinct aesthetic to this retro-metamorphic-future silhouette, which is a hybrid combination of two vintage Nike running models, the LDV and the Waffle Racer. The construction essentially consists of layering the uppers of each model, with two layers of suede and double Swooshes on the mesh base.

The foam midsole follows the same concept, stacking two soles on top of each other. Double tongues and double laces complete the theme. This colorway combines a lime green/black Waffle Racer with a corn/orange LDV. The Sacai x Nike LDWaffle Trainer "Green Gusto/Varsity Maize" was released in early 2019.
