Nike Air Max 1 La Ville Lumière

On the occasion of Air Max Day 2022 and the 35th anniversary of Air Max 1the designers of Nike have taken over from Tinker Hatfield to create the most cult of bubble sneakers in a new, feminine colorway.

As the name suggests, this women's edition, dubbed "La Ville Lumière", has its roots in the French capital, where Hatfield once got the idea for the design during a visit to Paris, where he admired the glass architecture of the Centre Pompidou.

Loaded with history, the Air Max 1 "La Ville Lumière" featuresa beautiful white mesh finish complimented by iridescent treatment on the side panels and base of the heel. Overlays in suede leather overlays on the side logo and mudguard complete the aesthetics of the upper, with a blue front tongue decorated with the inscription "3.26", the Air Max Day date. The sole, meanwhile, is dressed in a triple reminder of white, gray and blue, with a translucent section on its outer coating.

The star sneaker of Air Max 2022 is an exclusively feminine pair. It will be released in a limited selection of women's sizes on March 26, 2022.
